Christopher Hughes, M.D, F.C.C.P.

Dr. Christopher Hughes is a Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist who is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and then completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. John Hospital. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit. Special interests include diagnosis and treatment of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and cough.  He treats all pulmonary diseases.

Dr. Hughes is also a Clinical Professor of the Department of Medicine at Wayne State University and has been a Ascension St. John Hospital staff physician since 1989. Dr. Hughes is Assistant Medical Director of Intensive Care at Ascension St. John Hospital. He is also on staff at William Beaumont Grosse Pointe, Select Specialty, Grosse Pointe and Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.

Dr. Hughes sees patients in the outpatient setting at our St. Clair Shores and Shelby Twp offices.
