René Franco, M. D.

Dr. René  Franco is a Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist who is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center/ Tufts University School of Medicine and a fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He also completed a Sleep Medicine fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center/ Wayne State University.

His interests include chronic respiratory failure, pulmonary hypertension and sleep disorders. He treats all pulmonary diseases.

Dr. Franco is the Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Ascension St. John Hospital and Assistant Professor of the Department of Wayne State University.

In his free time, Dr. Franco enjoys biking, skiing and spending time with his family.

Dr. Franco sees patients at our St. Clair Shores and Roseville locations.
