Mohammad Zalt, M.D.

Dr. Zalt specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care and is certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He received his medical degree from Aleppo University and was ranked 2nd in a class of 400. He completed his internship and residency at St. Barnabas Hospital/ Cornell Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where he was Chief Medical Resident and the recipient of several prestigious awards recognizing his excellence in teaching and patient care.  Thereafter, Dr. Zalt completed his Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital-Detroit in 2003, and completed his Interventional Pulmonology fellowship at Emory University, School of Medicine, in 2012. He is on staff at Ascension St. John Hospital, William Beaumont Grosse Pointe and Select Specialty Grosse Pointe.
